Pedestal Skirt for Unknown Brand Ca. 1920 Claw Foot or Slipper Style Bathtub. The only makers or casting mark is a "20" on skirt, inside, zoom picture 3, upper right, which coincides generally, with the year, the house this came out of, was originally plumbed. Height is 6 - 1/4", except for drain area, where it dips to 5 - 1/4".
Top rim measurements are 38" x 18 - 5/8". Bottom flare / rim 40 - 1/2" x 22 - 3/8".
The "U" bolt notches for fastening tub are 20 - 1/2"+- center to center down side length, 17"+- from one side to the other. Drain hole is 2 - 1/2 diameter. There are very few small chips in porcelain at edges and few fine scratches, the worst of which shown in last five pictures, any others are minimal. Looking at picture 8, at drain area, there are some factory porcelain coated flaws at rim, to left of drain area.The porcelain retains original finish sheen, not dulled from scrubbing. The tub to pedestal, fasteners, are brass with cast iron wing nuts, all threads good.
